they have poison glands all over the surface, those two are just extremely huge ;)
when I need to move them, I usually make them crawl on my palm and then carry around, so I don't touch their dorsal skin :) I haven't had any problems with them :)

Aha, thank you for information, I read about some poisonous glands of toads long time ago, and was afraid to touch this one :)

Those are parotoid glands, they contain poison. So they don't taste good :D
Some more poisonous toads are even deadly, but not this one, though you should wash your hands if you're touching it ;)

wow, yours is much bigger :) I have to carefully follow what you have upload :) I noticed that they have big warts behind eyes, what is their purpose?
