Yellow, on ground vine, soft prickles, seeds inside, fruity smell inside.
In Bengal, India we cook and eat it as a vegetable when the skin is green...so have never seen a yellow skinned one. The spines are soft and edible. We call it Kaak-rul in Bangla and spiny gourd too.
