Cyclosa sp.
Araneidae; Cyclosa; Cyclosa sp. This Web Debris spider has created a web decoration of the linear type and can be seen at the bottom end of the decoration in a typical head down position. This style of decoration and the "head down" position are mentioned in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclosa
I spotted this Cyclosa sp, on its web on foliage at the edge of a rice field. In this small place, there is very little interference from humans. The undergrowth is dense and is shaded by the canopy of a row of mango trees between the edge of the road and the rice field. This is a place which I have noted down as a "hotspot" for insect life and other biodiversity. It is known locally for regular sightings of Reticulated Pythons and Tree Snakes. I know it best for a wealth of bugs and spiders.
My spotting immediately before this one was another Web Debris Spider which had accumulated debris in a "bunch" or "clump". - https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/15...
