Description:

A grey Long-horned beetle with two black spots on the elytra. It was about 1 cm long. Family Cerambycidae.

Habitat:

Heavy shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters.

Thank you bayucca, does the Bold System ever take into account verified photos from other sources such as Project Noah? It looks like this species hasn't been reported from Mexico.
