Oriental Hornet nest

Vespa orientalis

Description:

About 4' (1.2m) long, clinging to a limestone cliff. It's some kind of bee/wasp nest, or something like that. It was very high up.

Habitat:

karst limestone

Notes:

I spotted this on the way to a cave in Vang Vieng. There's many caves in the area.
