Ribwort Plantain

Plantago lanceolata

Description:

Perennial, herbaceous plant. Height: 5 - 50 cm. Its root can go down to 60 cm in the soil. Leaves have no petiole. It flowers from mai to September.

Habitat:

Grows on meadows, along roadsides and fields.

Notes:

It contains several substances used to treat inner infections of the throat. It can be used as tea.
