Baccha
After seeing Phil's hoverfly photos the other day, I thought I would give it a try, so spent an afternoon stalking hoverflies in the back garden. They are certainly nifty little buggers. My photos are not quite up to Phil's standards, but I had fun trying to get the shots. These ones appear to be part of the genus Baccha as they are very small, elongated and slender.
Can be found flying around most gardens where there are flowers.
