Unknown Fly

Description:

I couldn't believe what this 1mm speck looked like magnified. Very neat little fly. It kind of looks like a species of the Platypezidae (flat-footed flies), but the wing venation doesn't match well.

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
