Golden Orb Web Spider

Description:

I was walking along the trail and spotted this Golden Web Spider. It was about 20cm long. Resting in her web waiting for its prey and at the every moment a wasp flew by and was trapped in the web right in front of my eyes. Using her frags to bite tightly onto the wasp for around 5mins before wrapping it up... I took this series of photos from the moment she become a murderer till she had her lunch..
