I'm no expert but I'd say it's a good match up. There's so many varieties out there of tulips. :) Beautiful flower though especially the top view.

I think most likely it's a lily flowering tulip. http://www.flickr.com/photos/14508691@N0... Not sure if I can help narrow it down though.
