Yes, they are freaky looking! I guess I like that mysterious, whimsical look about fungi :) I did a quick search. It helps knowing the common name. I am new to this area so I do not know much. I will do more research this winter when I have more time indoors. Thanks!!

you are most welcome. Did you double check? I am not the best with fungi. These are freaky looking and I think I learned of them from some one else's posting. Great spotting. Hope I get to find some this summer
