I know! Last spring there were lots of snails all over my garden. Hoping they're back this year so I can take more photos. Don't know why, but I'm fascinated by them.

Aw you should go find him/her and wait for him/her to come out, they make really great subjects because they give you loads of time to take their photo :)

LOL - I thought the same thing. I found this little "shell" on top of my recycling bin, but when I went to pick it up, it was stuck fast to the lid - the snail was completely tucked in, but was holding on tight!
