Thanks...SAnibel is a wonderful birding spot...this was taken at Ft. desoto, another birding hotspot.

Thanks, I didn't pick up on the species at first.....until my friend pointed out the bill. You can see it's just like the other bird in the pic.

You're right Ashish, it was on a mud flat and they were definitely hunting.

Yes Mitch its fantastic. I can see expressions on birds faces.
This should be marsh area where muddy surface bares during low tide. These birds gathered to hunt mud fishes.
