Description:

saltwater fish, one dark brown- orangespine unicorn fish, though not 100% sure of ID one striped with polka dot fins, white belly

Habitat:

tropical ocean

Notes:

I spotted these fish on the grill on the beach and thought they were interesting enough to photograph. They were already cooking for someone,I did not get to eat them.

Sorry alice and nath, I had the location wrong. It was on the beach in Puerto Galera.

Can orangespine unicornfish survive in fresh water? Taal is a fresh water lake. I'll check if I can access the new list of DNA barcoded ichthyofauna of the lake.
