These caterpillers started making a nest in one of my trees. Im not sure what kind they are though.

Everything is perfect except you need to put the Wiki address in the box under Reference URL ( it says in light letters Enc of Life or Wikip) rather than Tags. I hope you don't mind my help...it's all pretty confusing at first....someone helped me at first, too.
By the way, do you have tons of those caterpillars? I once had an infestation so bad that they were literally dropping out of the trees on me. It was pretty awful....but, it seems to come in cycles.

Great! Now that you know how to use the edit, put Eastern Tent Caterpillars at the very top then go to scientific name and put Malacosoma americana. You can then copy and paste the source you found on the internet and add it as the reference URL. You can use this:

I would do it for you but I know you want to learn how it's done so you can get id's on to all you terrific spottings.
