I guess the Mexican Jay sticks to southern Arizona.
Sitting in a Juniper in that part of AZ makes Scrub Jay more likely.
The picture does make it hard to tell if it is a Scrub or Mexican Jay.
Is it a scrub jay? It just looks different to me.
