the pierced nose is because the nomad people of mongolia use them for transport and for there milk or meat. but they are easy to handel when the attach a robe to the wooden stick. and then they can also drive them.
but there are only not many wild Bactrian camels left. only in protected area's in south Mongolia, and they have no pierced noses.
