great pic!Most opuntia nad prickly pear species look alike. How do you distinguish between edible and non edible?
Thanks. You are right. You should wear good gloves if you take them otherwise you will remember the painfull sweetnes of the fruit for long. :-)
Awesome picture! I ate some of these once and their really tasty if not for the thousand little thorns on each of the spots (:
