Pheasant

Phasianus colchicus

Notes:

Very tame pheasant that thankfully escaped the local shooters, now he eats all the seed that the smaller birds knock out of the bird feeder. Sometimes he will jump up into the tipper (the yellow vehicle you can just see at the top of the picture, sort of like a digger) and try to get the seed out of the feeder, which normally ends with him knocking the whole feeder onto the ground. This photo was taken through the kitchen window, I tried knocking on the window to get him to turn around but he doesn't spook easily!
