Laura, yeah. There are some birds I saw yesterday but never did get a picture of. I'm pretty sure I saw a hummingbird, but it went into the shrubbery when I got close and just wasn't making any plans to come back out any time soon. But now I know where to look for him. ;)

Aw! Thank you, first off. :)

Second off all, I have a decent dSLR camera, a telephoto/macro lens... and some luck. :) I've learned to be very patient and to wait for the birds to show themselves to me.

Oh yes, that's always nice of little birds when they do that! There is a group of blue tits where I live, and I've been trying to photograph them for ages, but as you said they just constantly move... and there are no lower branches on the tree they moved into! One day though :)

Thanks! He was constantly in motion, but when he did land, he was doing it on some lower branches, which was very kind of him. :)
