Long antennae, each about the length of it's body. Very large mandibles, square-shaped. Gray on top but bright orange on the bottom. On the inside of each claw there is an inward-facing point. It's not a growth it is part of the crab. The entire crab is very flat, I found it among groups of other crabs, but none of its own species. It's like a loner. I still have no idea what it is.
Anywhere rocky. As long as there's moisture, you'll find one. But only at White Point, San Pedro.
A year ago I posted a spotting if this same crab. I'm back again with better pictures! I still have no idea what kind of crab this is though.
