Green Vegetable Bug

Nazara viridula

Description:

A green type of stink bug. It's a new coloration for me. Yellow head and alternating colors in the antennae. The size is about 12 mm.

Habitat:

Leafs and plants in the open meadows here.

Notes:

I stopped to look rather than just dismissing it as an already been seen insect. It was new!

They almost match, though I saw the yellow and looked closer.

I like the coloring of the bug against the leaf.
