Giant River Prawns

Macrobrachium rosenbergii

Description:

large, bright blue claws

Habitat:

freshwater

Notes:

I was offered to buy this during my houseboat cruise on the backwaters of Kerala. Unfortunately, I did not purchase them. I guess I will never know how a huge blue prawn tastes!
