I've moved this snail from the Arthropods category to the Other category for you. Arthropods have exoskelatons and jointed limbs; think bee, dragonfly, crab.

Oh, yes... the water was quite chilly at 10 C just a week ago. Massacusetts and Cape Cod Bays are always cold. But Buzzard's Bay on the south-coast of the state can reach a healthy 23!
You miss the lobsters and the snails... I'm getting tired of them. :) Kidding, but I do need to explore more. :)
I learnt to scuba dive in 2002 with East Coast divers in New England. I know exactly where have you been. I used to go to a little beach in Rockport, Garden Rocks or something like this??..Anyway, I miss seeing the lobsters and the moon snails down there (although I don´t miss the 7-11 C water) :-)
