Gray's Tree Frog juvenile

Hyla versicolor

Description:

Pale green with mottled grey underside. Clubbed feet, typical of tree frogs. Dark band from tip of nose, across the eye to the shoulder.

Habitat:

Spotted on a sapling of a tree in an area of brush separating two old fields. There is a small pool of water nearby (vernal pool?) in the middle of the adjacent field that remains unless there is a complete lack of rain for an extended period of time.

Notes:

This is the second juvenile I've discovered in this exact area.
