Nigella papillosa subsp. papillosa

Description:

Esta es una planta sumamente rara y con una flor siempre espectacular, en cualquier momento de su evolución. La fotografía corresponde a la subespecie papillosa, que es la de mayor restricción en su distribución. El sobrenombre de "bonete" hace referencia a la parte femenina de la flor o gineceo. También destacan sus bellos nectarios situados en la base de la flor, justo por encima de los pétalos.

Habitat:

Carretera Ronda-Utrera (Sevilla). La Nigella papillosa subespecie papillosa se localiza exclusivamente en el SW de la Península Ibérica.
