Leucanthemum vulgare

Description:

The common white & yellow field daisy. Flower 1-2" (2.5-5 cm) wide. White petals around a yellow disk. Disk depressed at center. Dark green leaves, coarsely toothed 3" (7.5 cm0) - 6" (15 cm) long. Basal leaves longer than upper leaves. 1-3' (30-90 cm) tall. Flowering from June-August.

Habitat:

Meadows, pastures, roadsides & waste places. Throughout much of North America except arctic Canada, more sparse southward.
