Description:

Aka the white-plumed anemone. This carnivore uses its tentacles to catch small invertebrates, zooplankton and other food particles.

Habitat:

Spotted on jetty rocks at low tide. Neah Bay, Washington.

Notes:

Found in the eastern Pacific Ocean from Alaska down to Catalina Island, California.
