Eurasian collared dove

Streptopelia decaocto

Description:

The eurasian collared dove is native to Europe and Asia. In North America it has become an invasive species after it was introduced to the Bahamas in the 70s.

Habitat:

Commonly found around cities.

Notes:

This is possibly a juvenile as its collar was less developed. Further down in my album there is a series of the same species in a mating game.
