Description:

A Caspian Tern spotted flying along the shore of Lake Ontario.

Habitat:

The area where he was spotted is off Lake Ontario in the area of Oswego, NY. Oswego has several wetlands with mixed mature hardwood forests. The climate itself is greatly affected by the lake with cold winters and cool to warm summers.
