Description:

This near adult individual still shows some brown on the plumage. Yellow bill and eye-ring, and exquisite melodious singing.

Habitat:

Forests and gardens. Breeds in Europe, Asia, and North Africa; introduced to Australia and New Zealand.

Notes:

Dawn and dusk are the best time to hear black birds singing. Will mimic other species of birds, cats, humans and even phone rings!
