In a eucalypt forest, small maybe a couple of centimetres across
Definitely a rosette form of Drosera.
Looks like a carnivorous plant. Were the white hairs covered with some sticky liquid? It might be a Drosera species, maybe Drosera erythrorhiza. Hope this gives you a hint for further identification. Cheers
