Hi TrinityStanley! Nice picture!Since you know the identity of your organism (from your use of its common name, donkey), please go ahead and fill in the scientific name field, as well as the common name field. In this case the scientific name is Equus africanus asinus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donkey In terms of the Project Noah database, adding the scientific name will make your spotting a complete, usable record will also move it off of the "Unidentified" spottings list. If you are interested in learning how species are named and why this is important for this site, see Project Noah's blog entry http://blog.projectnoah.org/post/2870249... Thanks!
