Purple flowers and grassy leaves.

Habitat:

My yard.

Notes:

Very hard to get rid of. It escaped the beds 5 years ago when we dug them all up. We're still trying to get rid of it.

Yea. We're still trying to get rid of it because it keeps coming up in our gravel drainage path and bogging up portions of it.

you are welcome...yes, they do spread like weed. it sprouted everywhere in my yard.

A mexican petunia is a kind of ruellia. I just looked it up on wikipedia. I'm glad to know the common name. Thanks!
