Description:

Flowers ca. 0.5 inches diameter; flat; green; 5-petals; radially symmetical. Flowers produced from axils of opposite leaves. Each axil may have up to three buds that open successively; this allows a greater opportunity for fertilization. Leaves simple; opposite; ovate.

Habitat:

Shrub growing in sunny area near lake. Approximately 4 feet tall.
