Oreamnos americanus
The mountain goat (a.k.a. the Rocky Mountain goat) has large hooves and is only in North America. Despite it's name, it is not in the goat family. It's a sure-footed climber commonly seen on cliffs and ice. Mountain goats are the largest mammals found in their high-altitude habitats.
This animal lives in the rocky mountains and Cascade Range regions of North America. It's northernmost range is said to be along the northern fringe of the Chugach Mountains in south central Alaska. They sometimes migrate seasonally to higher or lower elevations within that range, but usually stay above the tree line.

Nice addition of information...while you're at it please add in the reference link where you found it, in case others would like to learn more. And why not add in the scientific name (into the blank reserved for it) which is Oreamnos americanus. Thanks
