They were all alive! This guy was about 80cm long, including his tail.

Hi Mark Ridgway, I did take this picture myself, this iguana is from Tulum Mexico and there were many of them to photograph. Thank you for the info.

I invite you to go to http://www.projectnoah.org/faq where you will find the purpose and “rules” of Project Noah. The first rule is that you can only post pictures you yourself have taken of living (and occasionally dead) organisms, so you'll need to remove this spotting and replace it with a picture you have taken of an organism, not a picture from a book.
