Auf die Grösse kams doch noch nie an ;-)... Ich habe keine andere Art gefunden. Check doch die Grössen nochmals...

thanks bayucca. the genera i think is correct, but i doubt the speci. This was really 3,5 cm or longer.

Vespidae, Eumeninae, most probably Phimenes flavopictus. Please, verify and specially verify the uncommon common name, you never know ;-)...
Other common name would be Potter Wasp.
