Parides photinus
Parides photinus is a species of butterfly in the family Papilionidae. It is commonly known as the Pink-spotted Cattleheart. It is found from Mexico to Costa Rica, where it is common to abundant in forests. Adults are black with the hind wing having a blue-green sheen. Two rows of red spots are found along the hind wing margin. The larvae feed on Aristolochia grandiflora and A. asclepiadifolia
this one is at the butterfly center houston.

Susan, I think you should still post them all in the butterfly mission. Even if they are not in the wild if you say where they are originary from the photos can help people to learn about all these butterflies :-)
thanks peter...but these butterflies are not found in the wild, i do not know if i qualify.
