Stolas festiva

Stolas festiva

Description:

This colourfull coleoptera belongs to the family Chrysomelidae. I found many of this insects in the Natural reserve of Ribera Norte, in San Isidro. The colour changes depending on the angle of the sun, and reflects in blue, breen and magenta. The border is always magenta.

Habitat:

Many couples have been seen in this place. They are not common or abundant, but if you stay a little, you can have the chance to find them. Always in the bushes, they run under the folliage as soon they can see you.
