Description:

This is not a snake. It's a reptile. About twenty years ago I saw a lot of them in the forest, but meanwhile I find them very rarely anymore. And this one was unusual long, ~ > 50 cm.

Habitat:

Europe and the Western part of Asia. This reptile lives in broad-leaved forests.
