Tangerine ( Black Worm )

Citrus reticulata

Description:

I went to the food store last night, and I bought a bag of tangerines. After I got home, I put all the tangerines in a fruit bowl. This morning, I looked at all the tangerines, and I saw that one tangerine, had some damage to it. There was some type of disease on the outside of this tangerine ( photo no. 1 ). On ( photos no. 2, 3, and 4 ), you can see, that there is some disease, on the inside of this tangerine. I spotted a tiny black hole, that went from the outside of this tangerine, all the way through, to the inside of this tangerine. I decided to open up this tangerine, to see if there was a black worm inside, and also to see if there was any disease, inside this tangerine. I opened up this tangerine, using my fingers, and I saw some disease inside this tangerine, ( by the presence of dark and medium dark areas ), and I also saw a black worm, living inside this tangerine. Look very closely at ( photos no. 2, 3, and 4 ). I can see this black worm, sticking out from a swollen piece of tissue. ( photo no. 2, right side ). ( photo no. 3, left side ). and ( photo no. 4, left side ). Also, in these three photos, you can see some disease, inside this tangerine. ( dark and medium dark areas ). I touched the front end of this black worm, with the tip of my ink pen. This black worm, then jerked to the left. This black worm, is alive. It moved!

Habitat:

The habitat of this disease, is on the outside and inside, of this tangerine. The habitat of this black worm, is on the inside of this tangerine. The habitat of this black worm, is living inside, a swollen piece of tissue, that's on the inside of this tangerine.

Notes:

I spotted a tiny black hole, on the outside of this tangerine, that went all the way through the peel, until it came out into the inside of this tangerine. A black worm, lived inside a swollen piece of tissue, that was underneath the peel of this tangerine.
