Phoca vitulina
Harbor seals with their pups in the La Jolla children's pool. These Harbor Seals are going instinct. People are trying to take away their natural habitat and turn it into a Children's pool.
California sea lions are found from Vancouver Island, British Columbia to the southern tip of Baja California in Mexico.

Definitely harbor seals... love the mother and pup sniffing each other's nose
Cool, still a great spotting regardless! So nice to see the pups, finger's crossed they won't be able to turn it into a children's pool. You should add to this mission http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/6544...
P.S. those seagulls are HUGE!
you can also include the birds for a different spotting.
Oh, sorry you were right they are Harbor seals. Thank you for telling me I'm going to go change it now
No, Harbor Seals have some faded spots on there bodies but these sea lions are pure brown/light brown.
Lucky you for spotting, but aren't these guys harbour seals?
