Description:

This is a slender bird with a leisurely walk. It measures 43 to 48 cm and weighs 250 grams. Orange bill with black base color and the red iris.

Habitat:

They prefer fast-flowing rocky streams, but sometimes are found in sandy banks of rivers, streams, slow-flowing or wells in the swamps, usually in wooded areas.

Notes:

It is considered an endangered species due to habitat loss from deforestation
