Description:

A young Philippine sailfin dragon.

Habitat:

Shrubs near the Ma. Christina waterfalls.

Notes:

In pictures where it appears dead, it is actually just sleeping. I have returned this lizard to its habitat the day after I caught it. :)

I think I saw one in The Bicol Region, specifically in Legazpi. Do they live near mangroves as well? And I think they are like the Jesus Lizard, they can walk on water, not sure of this though

I think this is a young Philippine sailfin lizard but I'm not 100% sure. Good thing that you returned the poor little thing. By the way, there are no native basilisk lizard in the Philippines.
