Calephelis perditalis
A small brown butterfly with a darker brown median band. The wingspan is 18–24 mm.
Spotted at the Resaca De La Palma State Park butterfly garden.
The larvae feed on Chromolaena odorata and Eupatorium glabratum.

Thanks for helping confirm the specie Ornithoptera80. I suspected it was Calephelis perditalis. Plenty of these has been found at this butterfly garden in the past. This marks the 90th different species of butterfly I was able to document from this trip to the LRGV so far.
