Definitely a seed eater, and I'd guess sparrow is a common name. The beak is longer than normal for a sparrow and the head more slender

hmm...do you think it should be Java Sparrow?
but i am not sure as Java Sparrow's beak is usually in red?

It is hard for me to believe this is called a Sparrow because it is so different, but it may be as common as ours.
