Green Paddy Frog

Hylarana erythraea

Description:

A medium sized frog. Toes are half webbed. Eardrum visible.A white yellowish to whitish stripe from behind eye rearwards on each side. Bright to dark green colour on top of head. Upper lip is white. Upper surface of limbs are light brown with dark markings.

Habitat:

Compounds of beach forest with some pools. Lots of causaurina trees.

Notes:

males are found calling in waterlogged spots.
