Cephalanthus occidentalis

Description:

Multi-stemmed shrub that can reach heights of 12 feet. Leaves are in pairs or threes. Flowers grow in clusters. This specimen is not currently flowering and was found growing on the edge of a lake, partially in the water.

Habitat:

Georgia Piedmont / Indian Springs State Park / Lake McIntosh
