Large plover, two distinct black chest bands help Id it from other plovers. White forehead, eyebrow, neck, throat, and belly, red eyering, brown cap, nape and wings, rump rufous, sandy yellow legs.

I saw a bunch of baby Killdeer this summer. Seriously the cuties chicks I have ever seen.
